Hey there.

I'm Sean, an engineer based in the Bay Area. Originally from Memphis, I studied Computer Science at UTK and now work at NTT DATA, where I've spent two years embedded with client engineering teams — mostly building tooling inside environments nobody had documented in a decade.

I got my start making "Choose Your Own Adventure" games out of what felt like endless layers of nested if statements. I had no idea what I was doing at the time, and it wasn't until I started studying Computer Science at UTK that I picked up the tools to build things properly.

Most of what I build now is applied AI — extraction pipelines, and validation layers around model output that fails quietly rather than throwing errors. I'm interested in forward deployed and applied AI engineering: the work where you sit with the customer, figure out what they actually need, and then go build it.

Outside of work I play jazz on tenor sax. It's been a way to balance the creative side of coding with music, and I think both benefit from each other.

- Digital Technology Analyst — Cloud Transformation

  • Cut migration documentation review time by ~60% across enterprise engagements by designing and shipping a Python document-analysis tool on the Anthropic API. Self-initiated; adopted by the delivery team.
  • Eliminated ~10 hours/week of manual spreadsheet reconciliation by building Python tooling to reconcile server inventory across RVTools exports and third-party discovery datasets.
  • Owned migration execution and validation workstreams on a 1,000-VM VMware-to-AWS migration for the Los Angeles Unified School District — runbooks, cutover sequencing, and rollback procedures accepted under government security review.
  • Delivered a lift-and-shift cloud migration for Magellan Health, a national healthcare organization.
  • Translated ~100 stakeholder requirements into scoped engineering commitments while embedded with client cloud architects and security teams.

"I always thought that I would create video games once I had the proper tools at my disposal, but in the process of aquiring those skills I found that I was far more interested in creating things that increased productivity or efficiency. I want to make elegant solutions that improve the QoL in the context that the application was developed for. Below are some of my favorite projects that I've developed."
